To me this is a essential item for the bathroom. Over the years of using these I know the difference between clean water and the water that generally comes out of there without a filter. The unfiltered water is generally hard water and it may have a number of impurities in it including mold chlorine and other things. So it is my job to get that out of there and I do it with these types of filters. They are easy to install, there is included pipe thread tape and an extra filter. You generally get about 3 to 6 months of filtered water depending upon how many people are using the shower and as I said there's a replacement filter there so you're going to get at least 6 months to a Year's worth of clean filtered water. It's a total win as far as I am concerned. And no more itchy skin or hair issues.

Since installing this, I have noticed a big difference 1: with my hair and 2: with my skin. Because of the filtration, all the hard water issues are null and void and that has relieved me tremendously. My water smelled a bit different for a few days when I began the filter use but it has since then gone back to normal. And lastly, my hard water left pink residue EVERY SINGLE TIME I showered. I have not seen this residue since installing the filterOverall: easy to install with simple instructions and really cost friendly way to help with hard water issues

I just got this chrome shower head filter today. I am not sure what to expect in difference of water quality and would like to take some time to use this product before updating this review with a complete analysis of what difference this filter makes.According to my wife, she is having issues with our hard water and minerals which is causing her hair to frizz. Upon opening the box, the item is a beautiful chrome finish and it was really easy to install on the shower head. We did not have to use teflon tape, the filter has a good seal which prevented leaks and run off.Additionally I like that this can be replaced when needed instead of an entire showerhead. Once we have used this for a couple months we will provide more information about what (if any) difference this has made for my wife's hair. Initial assessment is that build quality is great and it looks nice. Very easy to install.

My legs used to itch after getting out of the shower, but after using this filter, my legs don't itch at all. I've re-ordered the cartridge 3 times.

Works well to remove chlorine from shower water, as I find standard chlorination quite toxic to me. I replace it about every six months after our hard water has ruined it.

When I needed a replacement filter for my Kiara Flow shower head I accidentally bought the Aquabliss brand. What a waste! I could tell when washing my hair it wasn't doing a thing to filter out the minerals. I went back to Kiara Flow brand and notice a big difference in being able to comb through my hair - no more mineral build-up.
